Isn’t it amazing how many of us spend money on courses, books, CD’s, self-help programs, coaching, etc. just to be reminded that who we really are is already perfect, whole and complete?
In this conversation with spiritual teacher and author Jeff Foster, he reminded us that only by deeply accepting ourselves can we find that true love that many of our spiritual traditions talk about and we so desperately try to get from our others we’re in relationship with.
When you look at this thing we call love from this perspective, every relationship becomes then an invitation to experience love as the deepest acceptance of ourselves and each other.
Only when we deeply accept ourselves and all the “waves” of feelings, thoughts and emotions that move in this ocean we call our ‘selves’, can we truly and unconditionally love others.
I hope you enjoy it and receive great value from it. And, if you feel inspired to do so, I’d love it if you could share any new insights in the comments area below.
