There’s a price we pay for walking The Path of the Heart. Each person who has left the safety of the life they planned, to go after the life that was waiting for them has had to give something up.
When my Portuguese ancestors left the Island of Madeira during the 1860’s in order to settle in Georgetown, British Guyana, they did so knowing in their hearts that they might never see their loved ones again, nor come back home. And they didn’t.
Inevitably, the price of the path will not only include the emotional pain of leaving your loved ones behind but also the emotional pain associated with the new choices you’ll be making. In this brief podcast I talk about what these choices are.
