In this sixth guided meditation, part of The Inner Temple fo the Heart Series, we’ll be focusing on activating the virtue of valor.
To have valor means to be of value, or to be strong.
As a virtue of the heart, valor is the capacity to act with courage, strength, and determination in defense of what you most value or hold close to your heart.
Valor is what allows you to speak your truth when an injustice is committed either against you or someone you love.
Valor is what allows you to face your biggest fear as you wholeheartedly pursue those dreams, goals or projects you believe are possible.
Valor is what keeps you moving through the darkness, without losing hope, until the light returns.
In a world where many of us are completely self-absorbed by the details of our daily lives, where it’s so easy to ignore the suffering of others, or where it’s much more comfortable to keep quiet rather than to face the consequences of speaking our truth, valor is how you create, protect and preserve what is ultimately real and true to you.
Unlike courage which is the ability to act in spite of fear, valor is the ability to act in alignment with your highest values and from an inner sense of what right, true and real.
Valor is, in essence, love in action.
I hope you enjoy this next installment of The Inner Temple of the Heart, and that it opens your heart to welcoming greater love, abundance, and joy in your life!
